Located in Ras Al-Mangar, east of Benghazi, the project benefits from direct access to transport infrastructure, helping support future exports to regional and international markets
PROJECT SCALE
Covering approximately 380 hectares, the development is expected to become one of the world's largest Direct Reduced Iron complexes, with an annual production capacity of up to 7.5 million tonnes.
STRATEGIC LOCATION
Located in Ras Al-Mangar, east of Benghazi, the project benefits from direct access to transport infrastructure, helping support future exports to regional and international markets.
SUSTAINABILITY
The project has been designed to support lower-emission iron production through modern DRI technology, improved energy efficiency and a future pathway toward increased hydrogen use.
