01 - Who We Are

Tosyali Sulb Steel Industries Joint Company is developing a new iron and steel complex in Al-Lithama, Benghazi, Libya. The project brings together Libyan industrial ambition and Tosyali's international steelmaking experience, with the objective of establishing a modern, reliable and internationally competitive steel production platform in Libya.

02 - The Project

The complex is being developed in phases as a long-term industrial project incorporating production facilities, utilities, logistics and supporting infrastructure. The development is intended to strengthen Libya's domestic industrial capability, support local demand and create opportunities to serve regional and international markets as production capacity expands.

Phase 1 production capacity: up to 2.7 Million Tons

Total planned production capacity: up to 8.1 Million Tons

Current project status: 40% Complete (Phase 1) while Phase 2 work has begun simultaneously.

Approved product scope: DRI Steel (Phase 1)

Tosyali Sulb is committed to developing the project with a strong focus on safety, quality, environmental responsibility, efficient use of resources and the development of local technical capability, from engineering and construction through future operations.

OUR LONG-TERM CONTRIBUTION

Beyond steel production, the project is intended to support wider industrial development in Libya through infrastructure, employment, skills development, local supply-chain opportunities and stronger links with international industrial partners. Tosyali Sulb is being developed as a long-term industrial platform designed to grow with Libya's future needs.
